Bus Rider Info
If you need to make a change to your student's bus transportation (moving to a new bus, riding a bus when they are normally a car rider, etc.), you MUST call the Bus Shop first. You can reach them at 434.352.7441. Once you have approval from the Bus Shop, please send an email to ekgilsbach@acpsweb.com and provide the following information:
Who you spoke to at the bus shop
Student's Name
Bus Number they need to ride
Address the student is riding to
Date(s) you need them to ride the bus
Your name and a phone number to contact you if we have any questions
We cannot take any changes over the phone, you must send the information in writing. We cannot write the bus note without receiving all of the information listed above. We will respond to any bus change emails to let you know it was received. All bus change requests must be received by noon.
This information can also be sent in a note in your student's Daily Folder. You can write one note to cover several days. Please note we are unable to hold your child off a bus and keep them in the Front Office/place them on Car Rider for you to pick up once dismissal procedures have begun for the day.
Car Rider Info
If you need to make your child a car rider, please email ekgilsbach@acpsweb.com with the following information:
Student's Name
Date(s) you need them to be a car rider
Your name and a phone number to contact you if we have any questions
We cannot take any changes over the phone, you must send the information in writing. We cannot write the car rider note without receiving all of the information listed above. We will respond to any car rider change emails to let you know it was received. All car rider change requests must be received by noon.

Reminders
You are welcome to send a note in your child's daily folder with any of the changes noted above. These notes are passed to the office each morning.
We are unable to take any transportation changes over the phone. We must receive any changes in writing.
We are unable to hold students in the Front Office for pick-up.
